St. Patricks Day

I haven't ever really done anything for St. Patricks. But this year we did. My sister threw a party for a group of her friends and we were all invited too. it was a great time!! we all wore green and ate green food. She had green fish crackers, 3 or 4 green veggies, cabbage, and rainbow cupcakes. (thats all i can remember right now) She reserched why we celebrate and told us about St. Patrick. We played with green play dough. Painted with puffy shaving cream paint. And watched a veggie tales movie about St. Patrick. She had a couple other games planned but we ran out of time. It was fun to celebrate a holiday we haven't ever done much for, except wear green for. Garrett had fun finding all the things that had green on them. we would be driving along and he would say "that store is wearing green", "that car is wearing green", ect. and because the trees are still bare he said "the trees don't have green, we have to pinch them". ...anyway we had fun with a green, green St. Patricks day! :D

  1. Sounds like lots of fun! St. Patrick's Day is Jonas' b-day, so we always try to do more for him than the holiday, but there are lots of fun things to do.

  3. St Paddy's is one of my favorite holidays. In Ireland it is a big thing. And I learned to love it while on my mission along with the Irish. It sounds like you had a good time. Love Aunt Colleen
